Nighthaven
Nighthaven is a secluded gothic territory that remained hidden from most of Aeternum for generations. Its villages, forests, catacombs, estates, and towering structures belong to a society shaped by isolation, superstition, memory, and fear.
The territory is ruled by a domineering king and supported by powerful noble houses, including House Varlaam, House Báthory, and House Carmilla. Beneath that authority, the Grand Carnival has become a center of resistance. The people of Nighthaven protect their homes with charms and rituals while dangerous creatures such as the Upyr haunt the surrounding wilderness.
Nighthaven’s story is closely connected to the Tear of Gaea and the attempt to hide or control powers capable of reshaping Aeternum. Dreams, memories, curses, strange flowers, local folklore, and aristocratic rivalries all form part of the region’s identity. As the final major territory added to Aeternum, Nighthaven serves as a late chapter in the island’s history while revealing that entire civilizations could remain concealed even after centuries of exploration.
