Weaver's Fen
Weaver’s Fen is a waterlogged territory of swamps, disease, ruined settlements, and Ancient infrastructure. Roads, bridges, ruins, and magical remnants indicate that the region was once far more connected and developed than its present condition suggests.
The Corpse Crone is one of the territory’s most important figures. Her research explored flora and fungi, sickness, anger, the transition between life and the Lost, Ancient glyphs, and devices once used to protect places from Corruption. Her work makes Weaver’s Fen particularly valuable for understanding how later inhabitants tried to reverse-engineer Ancient knowledge.
The territory’s lore also records expeditions to Canopus, the long travels of Venla, Hazel’s experiments, local fishing communities, pirates, and the mysterious Thing in the Swamp. Weaver’s Fen is therefore a region where disease, undeath, Ancient technology, and human experimentation overlap, each making the swamp more dangerous than its appearance alone would suggest.
