Gathering Tools
One of Engineering’s most important roles is the production of Pickaxes, Logging Axes, Skinning Knives, and Sickles. Higher-tier tools gather faster and can carry profession perks that improve gathering speed, yield, luck, or other utility.
This creates a useful economic loop: gathering provides Engineering materials, Engineering produces better gathering tools, and those tools improve future resource collection.
Weapons and Utility
Engineering also crafts a selection of weapon and utility recipes. These crafts frequently combine Woodworking and Smelting materials with leather, special drops, and profession-specific components.
Progression
Engineering levels through crafting at its associated stations. Higher profession levels unlock more advanced tools and equipment, while the First Craft Bonus rewards players for producing a broad range of recipes for the first time.
Connected Trade Skills
Engineering relies especially on Woodworking, Smelting, and Leatherworking, connecting it strongly to Logging, Mining, and Skinning.
