Mining
Mining is the Gathering Trade Skill used to extract ore, stone, precious metals, and other mineral resources from nodes across Aeternum. Players gather these resources with a Pickaxe, supplying many of the most material-intensive crafting professions in the game.

What Mining Provides
Mining feeds two major refining paths. Metallic ores are processed through Smelting into ingots, while stone and related mineral resources support Stonecutting. Those refined materials are then used by professions such as Weaponsmithing, Armoring, Engineering, Jewelcrafting, and Furnishing.
Mining nodes can also produce rare materials in addition to their normal output. Gathering Luck is therefore particularly important when a player is targeting uncommon crafting components rather than simply farming bulk ore.
Progression
Higher Mining levels unlock increasingly advanced mineral nodes and resource tracking. At level 205, players can mine Mythril Veins, which provide Mythril Ore for high-level Smelting recipes.
The final progression tier also includes level-250 gatherables in modern Aeternum, giving max-level miners additional reasons to continue exploring newer endgame territories and resource routes.
Improving Mining
Mining efficiency is influenced by the Pickaxe and its perks, profession equipment, gathering food, trophies, Music buffs, and other bonuses. Gathering Speed improves mining time, Gathering Yield increases material quantity, and Gathering Luck improves access to eligible rare drops.
Connected Trade Skills
Mining directly supports Smelting and Stonecutting. The refined products from those skills are essential to multiple crafting professions, making Mining one of the broadest foundations of Aeternum’s crafting economy.
